Sabine Pascarelli grew up in Germany; she lives and works in Tuscany, Italy. She is an award-winning poet and translator in Italian, German and English. Her poems are also published in English and Italian anthologies and literary reviews. Her translated works include The Alchemy of Grief, by Emily Ferrara, winner of the Bordighera Poetry Prize. Among her credits are translating and co-editing, The Poet’s Cookbook, 2010 (Bordighera Press), and The Poet’s Cookbook, 2011 (Goethe-Institut). Her newest work is translation poems into Italian written by J.H. Beall. Republic is forthcoming in 2011.
